Automanic Open Day

Today Automanic opened its doors for the first time. Situated on the Woodburn Road in Carrickfergus it’s a one stop shop for car modifications. On site they are able to offer wheel refurbs, paint and bodywork, restoration and parts fitting as well as being dealers for Recaro, Cobra, VW Heritage and other big name brands.

With services like this on offer from staff who literally live and breathe cars it would have been rude not to pay them a visit today.

With a yard full of interesting cars in constant rotation we saw a Lancia Integrale, mk2 Jag, Lotus Elan, Triumphs and B5 RS4s scattered between more “normal” VXRs, Subarus and GTIs. The bodyshop had it’s doors open to lay bare their set up and some current works in progress.

Inside the shop is a display of both parts available to order and parts on offer to buy. Numerous detailing ranges mix with alloy wheel ranges, badges, wheel bolts and replacement panels for air and watercooled Volkswagens.

If you’re after parts and want a friendly service call in and speak to the staff at Automanic and you won’t be disappointed.
