With a few of us being bikers and having been raised in biker families it would be no surprise to hear that when we got word that our friends at Rebellion Speed and Chop had got their new premises up and running a while back we’d be running a feature on it.
On first stepping into the shop I was blown away by not only the bikes they were building but by the set up and how tidy the shop is kept. From one end to the other there were stripped and chopped Harleys of all ages getting everything from a full service to new tank and mudguards to a hardtail conversion. Mick’s own 1340 was even spotted fully stripped ready for new spoked wheels and a shortened springer front end.
We were guided into the showroom which is where you’ll be directed if you are wanting to buy one of the bikes for sale, order parts or just chill out while your bike is worked on. It’s a relaxed atmosphere partially to do with Mick and Paul running the shop and partially to do with it’s location in the marina at Oxford Island on the edge of Lough Neagh. In shop they have a display of parts for sale covering tanks, guards, helmets, clothes, saddles and service parts to name a few. As you would expect from dealers for both Zodiac and W&W the parts are of top quality along with their workmanship with both the guys working on customs from their teenage years.
It’s great to see a local business run by enthusiasts doing so well and the way they’re going it can only get better for them. Next month they’re running an open day at the shop so expect a full report and I’ll leave you with some pictures from our tour. A full gallery of pictures is available at the link below:
